Chief Examiner Statement
The transition to a new electronic version of the IAB LCCI exams has not compromised the rigour and quality that the written exam has always upheld.
Despite the format change, the level of knowledge and calibre expected remains unaffected.
Previously, candidates were given 3 hours to complete the written exam, but with the reduction in the need for hand-written responses, the new electronic version allows completion within a maximum of 2 hours.
It's important to note that even though the response mechanism has changed, there will still be a need for a constant pace during the exam. The complexity of the questions will demand substantial thinking time, ensuring that the exam remains a robust and highly credible assessment.
